Suggestion: FAQ Thread for Newbies

The OP suggested an FAQ that had links to threads on commonly asked questions (puppy biting, flea control, what food to feed, poop, etc), and the discussion evolved into a suggestion on articles created from threads on this site by volunteers and compiled on a page or so hosted on germanshepherds.com (so copyright is not violated- it remains in-house). We have a LOT of repeat topics when it comes to dogs and board pruning tends to eliminate a lot of gems, so compiling goodies off the board and on actual article pages on the main gs.com website would help a lot of newbies (and oldtimers) answer questions so there doesn't have to be tons of repeats.

Or maybe even just better archiving. I know we have a section for board archives but still, a lot of excellent threads never make it to the archives.

I am new to the site and have tried and tried to find out how to upload a pic. I have uploaded onto photobucket but I dont know where to get the url from. To be honest, I dont even know what a URL is. any advice would be very much appreciated.
