i m sure people would be ineterested in the discussion even if they do not specifically train in that venue - i just got asked to sell my green pup for training as dual purpose dog or the offer of co-ownership with a trainer to go thru the training with him and selling as a finsihed dog for bigger bucks. i'm like no way thats MY dog but the training kinds sounds like a hoot.

I agree Tim that the two are different....PP is kinda like an informal training that many people do that is difficult to define depending on where, what, and who, you want to protect. Police training/dogs are standardized tools of the LE community. There are certifications required and minimum standards unlike PP.
