No and there is no pop up either. If I click one of the words it brings me to Amazon to whatever that word represents.
For instance "home" brings me to a CD for sale called "home".

I deal with the same thing, I just ignore it, not savvy or concerned enough to deal with it. The board makes money how it makes it, I don't care. It's not like this board exists for the public good if you know what I mean, they don't care if your shepherd lives or dies as long as it gets hits to the site Now the members they/we care. Money is money and they (the board) make it however they can, nature of the beast.

To the original poster seeing these underlined words: are you seeing them when you are logged in to your account here or are you seeing them when you are browsing this site as a guest (i.e. not logged in)?

The reason why I am asking the above question is because we have this set up sometimes for GUESTS of the site.. they see more ads and different type of ads. This encourages people to log in which encourages them to participate..so on and so on.

I see them when I am logged in. But it's only when I'm logged in through Firefox. I don't see the underlining on IE for some reason.
I've checked everything in my computer. There are no add ons or programs that I can find. I ran a full scan yesterday, nothing there either.
I followed the directions to rid the text enhance, but there are no add ons to remove.

Yep, like I said, did a full scan yesterday and it detected nothing.

Must have missed that. Just make sure you did a malware scan too and not just spyware. I've run norton before and it detected nothing, but malware bytes will pick stuff up.

Maybe try running Firefox or Chrome. I gave up on internet explorer a long time ago. Way too many bugs.

Well, it was gone and I thought I had it fixed, but now I see it whenever someone writes Petsmart or Petco.

This is just so weird. It's like there's some advertising thing going on here.
