Thread Closed?

Recently, there was a thread started in the breeding section. One member enlisted the help of another to start a thread. Once the other side of the story came out, the thread was closed. No member or breeder names were used in this thread and it wasn't even nasty. Why was it closed? Several of us members feel it was closed because the other side came out and it was an attempt to quiet those with the other side.

Can you please explain this?

Why keep it going? Why would anyone even be interested in that? The last words spoken were trashing the buyer so I guess "the other side" kind of won. There is so much to this story that wasn't said from the buyer side so neither side really came out. Should it really be up to people not directly involved to debate it? Just my opinion...I know I have enough going on in my life without wanting to debate the personal life of another.

The thread had become nasty, was becoming personal and non productive so the moderator decided it was time to close the thread.
