I think there should be an abbreviations guide. I'm old and a web-tard and sometimes I have to skip abbreviations that aren't apparent through the context.
Also, a browse feature for posting pics in the forum would be AWESOME

No we don't need a 'Like' button; that's what words are for. Like buttons stifle communication and breed laziness. Not to mention, Facebook almost certainly has a patent on it disallowing such use on other sites. If you like someone's post, why not join in the conversation and express your own point of view and how it aligns with someone else?

![]() I understand about the laziness though, that is a good point. They have a patent on it? I've seen it on like 3 other sites. I learn something new every day.

You might want to tell some of the websites that who have had that feature before FB even came out. FB started in 2004, I was on websites that started in 2000 that had already had the like feature. Personally I don't see anything wrong with a like button, it works just fine for many other sites with no issues. I don't think it promotes being lazy, but I have seen on this site you are darned if you do and darned if you don't. Some people don't want "meaningless" posts that are just a thumbsup and I agree...a like button would fix that. But then there are people who don't like that option either. ETA: the only thing FB would have a patent on would be the design of the like "button" not the feature.

I am on other forums that use this format, and they have "like" buttons. I personally like it because sometimes I will really like or agree with a post, yet have nothing to add... it would cut down on bandwidth.
