It sometimes takes me a while, but I usually figure out how to block it in all my browsers, since I used different browsers for different sites. (IE seems to work best here for me, which is odd, but wheatever.) I finally got it blocked in IE, and am NOT seeing that stupid freaking ad anymore! I have NO problem with the regular ads as long as they don't float, hover, or otherwise cover what I'm trying to read or do.

Too bad this site can't be more discriminating in who they let advertise and how they do it. Really, I want your product because your ad annoys me???

Exactly! I'm the same way with tv commericials. If you totally flood me out with your annoying commercial, I am FAR less likely to bother with your product. Even if I had never heard of Science Diet, by having that drop in my posts/reading all the time, I'd hate the product ! Just makes it that much more annoying that a product I don't like is pestering me like this.

LOL ditto - I thought about that organic green frying pan or whatever it is, but I keep getting spam in my mailbox so now I'd never get one!!
If it was that good, they would not keep spamming me!

But, btw, that chrome extension works WONDERS.

I agree, thank you CeCe for the recommendation. I don't like firefox and the chromeadblock is great...I thought it was a pay site, so clicked out, but I don't have the ads in my space on this site any longer, so free must have worked. Though now I feel guilty that I didn't pay
