I posted a link to a PB GSD up for adoption in Saginaw, Mi. I put it in the non urgent section, but I think it may be urgent. I don't know what constitutes a 'high kill' shelter, but I think the Saginaw County Animal Care Center is one. They euthanize about 70% of animals that come in there according to. News article I just read. I don't know how to move a thread or if that is only done by moderators.

The other dog, last I heard, was still being evaluated. He is 6 years old and apparently underweight right now but still over 100 pounds. My mom met them both and couldn't believe their sweetness. I've been checking for his profile to show up on petfinder, but haven't seen it yet. My mom drops off dog food at this shelter from time to time and she estimates that dogs get about 2 weeks to be adopted and Gucci showed up Friday.
Thank you for the info, I will do that! |
