Threads run backwards

Why do threads on this site run newest to oldest ,bottom to top? this is opposite of every other site I belong to. Just wondering

Why do I see all the posts in a thread backwards??

Same for me. I have to go to the last page, scroll to the bottom and then start moving backwards. Can I change it somehow so the first post shows up first?
