Even an inexpensive P & S camera can take pretty nice pictures these days, so I want to see decent quality (in focus, no eye reflection, etc.) as well as a picture that fits the theme well. photo quality is the last thing i like at.
i read the theme and then i voted accordingly to that. the beach photos i liked the most because i don't live near a beach so i was drawn to those automatically. the park and pool pictures were cute too!
there were a lot of nice photos that were HEAD shots...but i like to see a dog in action and the one i voted for were two dogs playing on a beach-i liked the angle and scene and the action

7. No alterations of pictures by any image software allowed except for resizing pictures if they are too big or lighting them up.

I re-touch every photo I keep. Crop, straighten, sharpen, color correct, fix eyes, etc. I don't save un-touched photos unless it's like a raw image I intend to play with later on.
