Changing screen name

I'd like to change my screen name but I think I need an admin to do so, correct? I've looked all over my user cp and do not see that option. I'd like it to change to Spirited Shepherds.

only Yung the admin can do this, you would have to pm him..his handle is "shepherds"

This is something that has come up many times in the past as a request, and it has never been allowed. The only exception that has been made is when the software change occurred and automatically changed people's display names to their user names. In that case, we did allow people to change their names back to what they used to be. And once or twice where there were personal security/privacy concerns we allowed changes.

But otherwise we do not allow name changes. It is just way too confusing when people have been here for a while and have posted for a while and thus others know them under "name X", to suddenly have them change to "name Y".

Any Admin can do it, not just Yung. But we won't. Sorry.

Oh well, it was worth a try. Thought that we could do that as I've seen names change in the past. So just create a new account then.

No, duplicate accounts are not allowed either. Once you have an account on the board with a screen name, especially for 8 years, that is the account and name that stay. Sorry.
