Selzer, you have every right to your own opinion and to hold to it, im not saying otherwise on that. However that same right, goes to everyone else. Rights IMO are not the same on message boards are they are in RL, simply because this is a private forum owned by a private company with many people spanning the world in different countries, all with different "rights"

But my point is, people need to extend the whole "opinion" thing to everyone. Meaning if someone posts something, they should expect the good and the bad, period. People should not be attacked because they post something that people do not want to hear (read).

If people can voice their opinion of wanting it, tell me why is it wrong for those to voice their opinion about not wanting it? If one wants free speech, then one has to deal with things they may not agree with.

It is a thread, it is a discussion. If you continue to defend your points, why should the other side not continue to defend theirs.

Are you feeling persecuted? Have I persecuted you in some way? Did I ever express any opinions on your belief system/practice? Have I tried to quash it?

What I do not get is the whole mindset that I do not believe X, therefore there should be no traces of X anywhere. I do not get individuals wanting to eliminate someting just because.

There is a thread in chat room. Occasionally there is a discussion that involves religion. Why is that such a bother? I cannot understand the fuss about it. You put your thread about paganism. I am not a pagan. I did not complain or try to get it removed. Never considered it, to each his own. Why can you not allow us the same consideration?

I don't care what religion, race, political view you have, social class, what country you are from, gender, or age as long as you are the same way for me.

Don't make me bring out the brownies! Or the song "Where's The Love?" by the Black Eyed Peas!

I find it funny that, again its trying to be turned into the "im a victim" when someone posts something that they disagree with. I have said time and time again, if the posts are going to be allowed, then the freedom of speech needs to be all across the board, including to those who post disagreements about it. The consideration is extremely one sided and that same thing can be said for 'the other side'. Personally like I said, I wouldnt cry if they were gone and if politics are gonna be gone then I think religion should be to, but if its going to be here, then people who wise to say something about it should be justs as allowed as those who put it up.

And if someone doesnt want anyone saying anything even remotely negative or "bad" about it, then they shouldn't put it up to begin with.

Ive taken my licks and negative feed back on stuff ive posted, all was "within the rules" also. (just because you never said anything doesnt mean other people havent) I have no problem if people want to post a disagreement or the like about something I post. So long as it is not bashing, then people should be able to. (about any of the religious topics)
