Could someone please explain....

I was in Active Topics and saw a VA1 4x USA ---

And I clicked on it and it was an explanation as to why they need to sell their dog and for how much.

Someone asked if it was even ok, and I was going to add that I thought not -- yeah not adding much to the topic but,

I got this cryptic message saying that I have no rights to access on the thread either because I do not have the proper type of membership or status, or I was trying to edit someone else's post, or that some admin decided to revoke my priveledges -- ok it may not have said exactly that, but I only read it once and when I tried to navigate back there it had disappeared -- I mean it was spirited away.

So, my question is was this flagged and removed by a mod/admin and my post was just caught in the middle, kind of lost in space???

Anyhow, I thought the message was pretty harsh sounding for a nice and friendly site seeing I really wasn't doing anything wrong.

And, it also kind of makes it sound like there are other levels of this board that you can access if you are special.

I'm sure it got deleted for being against board rules.

Oh and I got that same exact "you do not have permission" message when i tried to refresh the page too.

But what I don't understand.

It was a non-commercial sale... well that is what it is considered over here. It was from private hands which makes it non-commercial so why is it against the rules?

I got a similar message several times but can't recall what message/s I was accessing. I know I got it once when I double clicked the icon to mask the forum and mark it read which is something I often do.

Advertising of dogs (or puppies) on the board, commercial sale or not, is against the rules. The only sales allowed are non commercial sales between individuals that involve inanimate objects, not living creatures.

Yeah, it tells you you don't have access...or something...I know I've seen it, "even as" admin. It is pretty VERBOTEN! sounding.
