is there a delay when you change your profile pic?

in my profile the new picture is showing but on all of my posts its still an old photo

I *think* on this software you can have a separate profile and avatar picture, so adding a profile pic wouldn't change your avatar. Go to your User CP and look for Edit Avatar on the left side, NOT Edit Profile, and try again.
