Lightbulb New Section?

Just out of curiosity.. would it be possible to make a "Playdate/meetup" section? I was just reading a thread and someone mentioned a canadian meetup and it just got me thinking! Maybe by state/province?

I know since Im new to this whole GSD thing, I've got no idea about rules, or where to even publically go to let my dog PLAY, nor do I know anyone who has another GSD or would even be interested in a playdate. It might help other out who are in similar situations? Just a thought!

Usually meetups are posted(and worked on as there is always schedule conflict and recruiting!) in the Events and Club Info Section, dunno if a separate section is really needed as meetups are most of the traffic in that section anyway!

I think that's a great idea! It would be great if I could find (meet) other GSD owners in my area.

Hum, that's something to think about. Does everyone plan a lot of meet-ups/playdates with other members on the board?

There are usually a few big Bay Area meets a year, we've had between 10 and 15 or more dogs.

There have been quite a few arranged, I know the New England crew had some. I a few years ago I went to a NJ/NY contingent hike that was arranged here.

What I really meant was that it would be much easier just broken down to state. Everything is really jumbled in the events section. I'd love Phantom to meet others and have a good romp!

If they could put subforums for general areas in the Events forum, that would be a definite improvement!
