edit profile on new forum and pm's

I was looking for a thread that asked this question...maybe I am the only unenlightened person here. lol
How can I edit my profile? I thought I found it but when I clicked on edit it did nothing.
When you respond to a pm you write underneath what the person who pm'd you wrote?? Is that how it works? I liked the clean...look of our other pm's. Anyhow is that how you respond?
I know dumb questions. LOL

About the Profile - go to the top and click on UserCP. Then on the left side, at the top of the list, are the options for the profile. There are all sorts of other things in there too

Pm's suck in this new version. Sorry, no tactful way to say otherwise. They come as individual and don't stay threaded. If you want to keep a thread, it depends on both you and the other sender to keep the quoted material. I think it's easier reading to reply at the top of the quoted material in a pm, though others use the bottom.

Somewhere there is a link that explains what a trackback is, I've never read it, haven't a clue.
