The search on this forum isn't very good. Try going to google.com and typing the following:

"blue buffalo" site:www.germanshepherds.com

you can only search 3 months at a time. So newer than 3 months, older than 1 week will give you everything from 3 months ago (date wise) until over a week ago.

Yeah the search on this forum is pathetic. It is one reason why this place has so many double posts...because the wealth of knowledge it has gets lost after 3 months unless you use google.

Gotta agree with you here Axxel. It's really frustrating sometimes, especially when you know the same question has been asked before.

Is there any reason why this forum hasn't moved over to vBulletin?

The reason the forum hasn't moved over to vBulletin is it is Powered by UBB threads and that is what the owner has decided to stay with. She may have an exteneded license or lifetime which are pricey just to toss out.

I believe down the line that UBB threads will be having a major upgrade. I have seen some of the dicussion of the new build and new features that will be added.

I like the board the way it is I don't do change well.

Remember when the last major change was made - I think it took me 6 months to recover Ok, not really that long - perhaps 6 hours.

Hmmmm though now I can't remember what the board looked like before that overhaul!!

My two biggest gripes with UBB is of course the search, and the way threads are made with each reply creating a new post in the listings. Clutters things up a lot.

It is also hard to keep track of threads that you're active in.

The Watched Topics has become my friend
I use it not only for threads I want to watch but people that I really value what they have to say and I don't want to miss anything
