Unable to Post Pictures Now

Just tried to post a picture in the Rescue section and was not able to. What happened ? I was able to post pictures before without any problems. Thnks for all your help.

Photobucket like before. It tells me that "HTML is disabled. UBBCode is enabled." Did I miss something somewhere ? Thanks again.

You need to use the link in Photobucket for UBB code. It is usually under the picture. If it is not there check on your account options to add it. I have noticed on my PB account it no longer seems to automatically save the image so I have to manually copy it one of the several shortcuts I use.

Guess I won't be posting pictures because I just can not make heads or tails out of this. Who ever changed what I wish they would just change things back to the way it was before. It was so much easier !

Not all sections have HTML code enabled. As a matter of fact most big board are going away from HTML code enabled because it is too easy to be your board hacked.

UBB code isn't that much different from HTML just different words. If you use (code in red)
<span style="color: #FF0000">[img]</span> put the picture URL here <span style="color: #FF0000">[/img]</span> it will display your picture.

If you are replying to a post use the reply button it gives you all the options, if you are just typing in the box under the post then you would have to use the code that is in red above. The Image button is next to the envelope.

Kathy, maybe it would help if you explained exactly how you used to do it before, and at what point you're getting the error message - is it photobucket? Is it the board? I'm posting pictures from photobucket the same way I always have and it works fine for me.

If you copy the preformatted "Img" link below the picture in photobucket and paste it into your reply window your picture will appear. You don't need to manually type in the code or use the image button that Val explains above. I find that to be the fastest and easiest way to post pictures.

Once I took a deep breath and slowly went thru photobucket I was able to do it. When I tried a few days ago it would not go thru, but once I was able to think about this I think I wasn't copying the whole code and I never realized it. Sorry, for putting everyone out. It has been a bad week all around and I apologize. Thank you for all your help.
