E-mail Notifications

Maybe I'm a loser, but I can't sem to figure out how to get notified by e-mail of topics I'm watching. For example, I posted a message, opted to add the topic to my Watch List, but when I go to see the topics I'm watching, it says I'm not watching any! Interestingly, when I go to the thread, and click on Add to My Watch Lists (or whatever the text is), I get a message telling me that the topic was removed from my Watch List. So I clicked the link again, then went to look at my Watch Lists, and it STILL says I'm not watching anything. Is there a bug in that regard?

It could be your cookie settings on your computer. If you do not have the cookies enabled to do no think it will retain those lists for you. Also I think there is an option if you click on My Stuff--->My Preferences to receive notices of replies via email.

OK, thanks for the tip under My Preferences. I must've missed that checkbox, although I looke three times!

also... when you go to your my stuff:my watched list - there are three sections. watched forums (the first one that automatically pops up), watched topics and watched users. you have to select the specific column in which to view.

OK, so now my Watched Topics WERE working. I just added a post to an existing thread, and although I elected to watch the Topic, it is not being added to my Watch Lists. The other Topics I'm watching are still there, but the newly added Topic is not showing up. What gives?

I think there might be something wrong with the checkbox at the bottom of replies, because I just went to the Topic Options and used the link for adding to my lists, and now the topic shows in my lists.
