Default Please don't tell me Stella knows how to open the freezer....

Had quite a laugh today.

I use old, small, cleaned out marrow bones sort of like a kong...I stuff them with pumpkin, coconut oil, peanut butter etc and freeze them, to be used as a treat.
Today I gave one to each of my 2 dogs today and went about my chores. After some time I realized that Stella was still enjoying her treat. Seemed like a bit too much time had gone by for her to still be eating. I got up and checked and not only did she have a new one, there were 6 others already eaten! She was quite proud of herself. The freezer door was closed but not sealed (if that makes sense).
So either Stella somehow opened it and had herself a little party, or I didn't close it all the way and she helped herself....

Hoping the latter happened.

Umm Stella may know how to open the freezer..LOL

My one year old gsd still gets treats every time I call him in from outside. I figure if I make come very special thats the one command he will always listen too. My son has been teaching our dog to open the refrigerator . He wants to teach him to get a beer. Well, my dumb son left the rag on the fridge door.

Dex is outside barking at the countless birds, possums so I call him inside while im in the kitchen cooking. he comes in opens the fridge door and grabs himself a mouthful of hot dogs (his usual special treats) out of the fridge. Needless to say the rag has to go.

Do NOT underestimate these dogs LOL

We have indoor cats. For awhile there we were having a problem with the sliding glass door being lift open?? We'd leave Roc in the backyard sometimes for a quick trip to town.

We'd come home ,Rocky's on the couch and the sliding glass door is wide open?? Fortunately the indoor cats are well trained so they were always still inside. We spoke to Rocky about it and he stopped opening the slider!

We stopped putting a towel on the frig door as Daisy if the door wasn't sealed would nose it open. got to give Stella ,Rocky and Dex some credit . These GSDs are definite problem solvers!

LOL. Stella already knows how to open the pantry if it isn't locked. Fortunately there isn't much that she is interested in, other than some dog biscuits...which of course she helped herself to.
What really cracks me up is that she just takes one at a time.

my last GSD figured out how to open the refrigerator. he would
open the refrigerator and the cats would stand around and wait
for him to pull things.

There hasn't been any more bone raiding of the freezer, so I must not have closed it all the way...whew. But Stella keeps sitting in front of it and sniffing. I think she is trying to figure out how it works!
