Default That moment when...

You drop the bowl of kibble and it scatters all the way across the kitchen, look at the broom, say "Eff it," and just let the dogs in.

"Treasure search day, guys!! It's a new Monday tradition!"

I joke that I got our lab mix because I was tired of sweeping food of the kitchen floor. DH calls her "Hoover."

Think I read somewhere that not using a bowl battles canine obesity? ;-)

That moment when .... pup notices the food tote is half empty so it's a good time to put paws up on it while Mom is getting the food out. Over it goes and the race is on between Mom and pup to see who can pick up the most kibble.

Mystique = 1, Mom = 0

That moment when you realize you're going to have to start child locking the food cabinet as the kibble is disappearing faster than you're feeding it.

Nice Havery! Done that one a few times myself.

Pretty sure that even if you feed by scattering the kibble, overfeeding is still overfeeding. I'm also pretty sure that I owned the world's only lab that could free-feed and not get fat.

True. I laugh because there was some maze-like product at Petsmart claiming that it was worth 8 times the price of a normal food bowl because it made dogs work for their dinner, thereby fighting boredom and overfeeding. No offense if anyone has one, I just find the premise silly...

Baha, I laughed at the maze bowl too when I saw it...my dogs eat out of $2 IKEA mixing bowls.
