Default What a Shiner!

In the evenings, sometimes I'll settle down on the floor in front of the TV so Gabe can settle in next to me and get his ears and neck scratched. Well, last night, he sort of half-crawled into my lap, and I was scratching him....

And all of a sudden, he decided he'd had enough (He must have heard something...) and just....shot up. Well, when he did, he tossed his head...

And the orbit of my eye collided with his head.

Now I've got a black eye thanks to my hard-headed boy, and people keep giving me passing sympathetic looks...

Ouch! I totally appreciate how hard their heads are. Get the ice on it.

Yikes
Sorry that happened to you. I can relate to being the victim of dog abuse.

I got smacked by his head so hard the other day that I got tears in my eyes and really fat lip.

Unfortunately comes with the territory of owning a dog . I've gotten a split lip and a goose egg on my forehead in the past.
