Default Keep or not keep puppy ( boxer )

So today i went for a walk and came across what i guess being a boxer pitbull mix. Very young pupy ( maybe 2 monts). She was sweet at first. i held her and she just cuddled, very cute puppy... but when we left her on the ground deciding what to do with her, a car drove by, she freaked out. We had o chase her so that she wouldnŽt go to the middle of the street and get hit by a car, and when my bf managed to get close to her, she turned on her back, pooped and peed at the same time...
I felt so sorry for her, she was so scared, we got her to my sister in lawŽs house for the time being.
My bf is inlove with her and wants to keep her, we are anyway going to take her to the vet to see if anything is ok, but iŽm a bit off about keeping her because of her being so scared of everything..
We were already planning on getting another dog, but what I had in mind was either a shepherd or retriever. I did like the pupK though, she is very sweet and very cute..
Do you guys think it would be a horrible idea to keep her?

I would keep the poor baby.. she only did what she did because she is so young and was "out in the world" by her wee lonesome, give her a few days and she will be your best friend

Poor pup - you don't know how long she's been a stray she may have been chased by a few people already or had stuff thrown at her etc. No wonder she was scared of everything.

Give her a bit of time and she'll trust you both and be you rest friend probably worth taking her to the vet to check for a micro chip just in case.
