Coming from Newfoundland dog world, I just knew I could take it all in stride. Simply knew I wouldn't ever be shocked when it came to a GSDs 'blowing' coat, and canine tumbleweed. And indeed, we have a dwarfed version of that going on.
However... I took the shedding comb to her just now. After just a few minutes of work, I came away with enough fur to fully clothe a respectable sized Peruvian dog or a Sphynx. I may have to take up spinning, and start a business knitting little coats for the smaller, shivering breeds.

Oh, I'm sure there's a market for dog hair somewhere!
Kind of morbid, but the Victorians used the hair of their deceased loved ones to make "mourning" jewlery. I'm sometimes the keeper of useless info. lol |
