Never in my life have I had a dog that is almost Empathic and sometimes I think she actually IS empathic.
Seriously. MaDeuce has something very special going on and shares any and all emotions with me. Right now, I have a bad cold/flu. She's not leaving my side. When I have one of my cough attacks she's almost crawling onto my lap, burying her head into my neck and giving me a hug. I'm not kidding, she is consoling me in every sense of the way. Never before have I had a dog doing that and sometimes I have the feeling she chose me. While she loves my husband, she's not doing the same thing with him. I think that little girl will stay with us. I don't think I can give her away any longer.

Aww... good girl.
Stark is the same.. he totally knows what I am feeling and emulates that completely. Not always a good thing. Like right now I am going through some stuff that is causing some anxiety and that is really upsetting him. He is very quiet, even slightly 'off'. |
