He is so funny and has to be involved in EVERYTHING. I open a can of fancy feast and he goes running to the kitties, you guys are getting fed! He is so excited for them everyday.

We were putting together a bed for my teen daughter and he is jumping in the bedstead, giving us kisses and watching intently everything we did. Then when we got the mattress in place he jumps on like he is saying, this is GREAT. Always the big smile. He will be two in March but is still such a puppydog.

Life is better with a German Shepherd.

I have been outside all afternoon clearing out the shed. Apart from the times I have tripped over him, Duke has made the whole thing so much more enjoyable, keeping me company, being interested in everything I have been doing, getting excited by EVERYTHING.

I love him too.

They do!! I was working from home and had the speaker phone on a chair to call into a meeting. He is sniffing it while I'm trying to dial and move his nose. He was saying, what is this thing? I've never seen it before, can I chew it.

Makes me laugh.

He has a thing about circles, he barks at the globe I have of the world, he barks at the circle holding the ceiling fan blades. Last summer he was barking at the reflection off his wading pool, the sun was making a circle of light on the house. The day he saw a hot air balloon, he about went ballistic. I asked the breeder, what is it with circles? She said she had never heard of such a thing. That's my boy!! He likes to lie out back and watch the clouds go by overhead. So funny.

They are so funny. Rocco does the same thing. Follows me around the house, wants to be in everything. If I open the freezer, he sticks his head in. If I go in the closet, he wants to go in too. If I look out the window, he wants to see out the window too. If I sit down to watch TV, he'll grab his bone and come climb on top of me. VELCROWWWWWW!!

When my husband was working on the sprinkler system, he wanted the dog with him. I said, he'll get in the way and husband said that's ok! It's fun to have someone so interested in plastic tubing. lol

At christmas, my son in law was reading a book on the couch. Russ jumps up and sits right next to him staring also at the book. It was hilarious!!
