Cause I definitely do. And sometimes I change the words to make them about him. Or..am I crazy weird?
Our first decent snow. Gus was a happy dog! Sorry about the quality. These weren't on my phone..so they're pictures of pictures. Lol. ![]() ![]() And this one, cause I thought it was really hilarious.

I sing to Koda constantly! I sing soft songs to calm her, sing bouncy songs when we're happy/playing, etc.
And I also change them a bit sometimes so they're about her.

Lol! My bf thinks I'm insane when I sing Hakuna Matata as a Trifexis song to give it to Koda. So I feel you! xD

Do you mean to tell me that there are folks out there who do NOT sing to their dogs? I find that hard to believe.
We sing to our pack all of the time. Every dinner is served with our own rendition of "It's doggie foodie time" sung to the tune of "It's Howdy Doody Time". And some songs are specific to a particular dog. I always tell the new owners of my foster dogs about their own special songs.

That's funny... just yesterday I was serenading Hunter in the car. I was driving, petting him, and singing "Halo" by Beyonce to him.
Don't judge me.

As I've posted here before, I love to sing and play my guitar on weekend mornings with my first cup of coffee. Liesl will sit at my feet and totally relax and fall asleep when I do this.
For Christmas I got as a gift a Harmony Pedal--a little contraption you hook up between your microphone and amp and when you sing it automatically inserts a vocal harmony. I was playing around with it and Liesl was with me, kind of curious about the new sound she was hearing, but mostly relaxed. Well, my wife (who is a lovely person but not the best singer) comes upstairs and decides to give the new toy a try. She takes the mic and begins to sing, while I am playing the guitar, and we both happen to glance down at Liesl. Liesl is staring at my wife with an expression of "You've got to be kidding me, right?" on her face. We both burst out laughing at her, and Liesl never broke expression--just kept looking at my wife as if to say "you really should just put down the mic and stop, now." They absolutely have their opinions, and absolutely communicate them to us.

I don't sing to them, but my first GSD, Bear, used to sing to me. Or rather talk to me. I never heard a more vocal GSD.
If I talked to him it was as if he was trying to answer me. You'd just have to hear it.
