That's the pig toy I bought Sage. I love the pig noise.

I don't know how you can train her not to be a thief?? I got a really good laugh with this one....I'm just imagining the dog stealing stuff and lining it up outside, not eating it, just stealing it...its priceless

*chuckle*
For serious tips: remove the doggy door and clean up "stuff". Then exercise and crate time. Unless, of course, you are actually enjoying this sneaky cute habit. Or train her to put all these "must-haves" in a box.

If she tore things up then I'd seriously have to do something about it, but she doesn't even put a tooth mark on anything. She just loves to steal things.

Years ago I had a Dobe that would steal things and hide them in her crate. One time I looked in and found a fleece blanket (still folded up), my tennis shoes (lined up neatly) and a small package of Cheetos (they had been opened, but the top folded over - they were still that way when I found them). Why?

I have gone outside in the morning to find my bras in the back yard.

Lucky only takes out his stuff however he will if you are talking on your phone and have extended your hand out w/ your sandwich see that as a gift he must accept. He also sees a cereal bowl left on the endtable in the am as you rush to get the phone or your coffee as obviously abandoned.

My male dog is a terrible thief - he is so funny, he doesn't tend to tear stuff up but he loves stealing it. Playstation controllers and the TV remote are a favourite.
He'll sort of sneak up to an item then geeeeeently reach out and grad it - then look at me in a "got it" way and make off with it
