Ouch! I'm sure that hurt.
I always seem to be sporting bruises from Jerry slamming into me or chomping on me while playing. He's gotten much better about the play biting, but I'm not sure how to train him to not accidentally run into me while playing. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

I'm always sporting a bruise from playing with Avery. I'm glad it was winter and cold when he was fixed a few weeks ago or else the whole world would've seen how bruised up my legs were from him frequent run ins with the cone. Or from him flinging around Getting comfortable in bed at night I typically sport a small split on my lip from his head or paw flailing about.

I've learned never to have my face or chin over a moving German Shepherd head.
BTDT have the scars.

I was asked by my doctor once if I was in a relationship "where I did not feel safe." I laughed and showed pictures of puppy Freyja, he was shocked at the amount of bruises a GSD puppy could inflict. Due to her crazy puppy antics I couldn't wear skirts to work for at least 4 months.
Now I just get bruises on the back of my legs from when the GSDs play the stick game and misjudge the distance between the stick and my legs. Nothing gets your attention like getting smacked on the back of the leg as your dog flies by with a stick in her mouth.

I couldn't begin to count the number of times I've gotten fat lips from head butts, or bruises from toys. Good thing everyone I know knows my dog(s) so they know it's just my head and my love for my dogs, not being beaten up.

head to anywhere on the face hurts. how about stepping
on your feet when you don't have shoes on? playing tug and they catch part of your hand especially outdoors during the winter.
