Hard. It happened this morning. Izzy is seven months old, and looks so very sweet with one ear up and one ear down. One would never suspect...

I had just finished up feeding, watering, and cleaning everyones area, and shoved my hand through the fencing to the patio and she bared her teeth and with no warning whatsoever, she sunk her teeth into my fingers.

She then tried to relieve my hand of the glove. I said, Uhg! that's my finger! I want to keep that! Gentle with my fingers! I then pulled the glove off and shoved the fingers in there and she licked them all over.

No, no, I just added the icon, she just thought the glove was a toy. They had tried to steal it when I was in the house too. She didn't hurt me.

Whew! Oh, OK...silly dog. Was it a leather glove? Hans always wants to play with my car chamois, thinks it's a toy for him.

No, it was a cloth glove. She snagged it and went running for the door earlier. I had to catch her and relieve her of it. Every now and again, they keep me jumping.

Like I can give them a toy and they will play with it, and usually disembowel it pretty quick. Joy is the worst, she steals toys form the other, drags them through the kennel fencing and disembowels them with rapid efficiency. But I have a bear in my room, that puppy after puppy after puppy have taken but have never tried to disembowel it. They know it is mine so they will take it off the desk and take it to their bed. And then I will go looking for it, and say MINE! and they grin like they just let me know how close it came to being toast.

She was just trying to repeat her earlier game of snag my glove and run.

No, never boring. I was thinking this morning how much I love my dogs. They ask for so little and give us so much, until they break our hearts.
