Default The weather has cooled off and my dog has lost her mind.

I don't know what has gotten into her but she is an absolute pill today. I was trying to work and she is sitting next to me barking her head off. I put her outside and she tries to get in. I come outside there's more barking.

She went to the dog park this morning and played with a few different dogs. I thought that would wear her out not ramp her up.

Ugh. I hate 'those' days...When my dogs behave I feel like I can conquer the world. But when they don't, I'm miserable...

Mine act like the energizer bunny in cool weather, they absolutely love it. Did you throw a ball for her at the dog park, maybe she thought that the game was not over.

Good thing I now live here, LOL.
Hans was quite nutty over Thanksgiving up North.
He calmed down when we returned. He.

Sometimes I can run my boy into the ground with physical exercise and he still seems restless afterwards. I have found that mental stimulation in most cases wears him out more, using that smart noggin of his

He likes "find it" games, or helping me with something (taking socks out of the dryer, picking up sticks in the yard, carrying the laundry basket up stairs) short obedience sessions, etc.

Change it up a bit, try something new.

On a side note, my boy LOVES the cooler weather and wants to be outside too.

I'm going to make a flirt pole! I wonder if that will help their rabbit hunting skills. Not that I want to deal with rabbit worms. Yuck!
