Took my 6 month old out yesterday evening and a few houses down he spotted some guys working on the roof of the house. He started with a deep throaty growl (it sounds scary as **** - which I love) and then gave out a few deep warning barks. It makes him sound 5 times as big as he is (he's 58lbs right now).
I heard the guys mumble something and I called out to them "I guess he's everybody's guard dog!".
It was actually nice to see him spotting behavior that was out of the ordinary for our neighborhood and him getting suspicious of it at such an early age. Even if it was for someone elses house.
He's a big suck indoors which is what made it a neat little experience.
