Sending positive thoughts. It's never easy when they have surgery.
Like others said, you'll have a little peace and quiet tonight because she'll be pretty out of it, but then watch out! You'll be pulling your hair out trying to keep her calm and quiet. |

I am sure A is okay!!! We have all been there and always are worried about our kids.
Please do not think you are not contributing because you are. You have a wonderful GSD, you love her and care for her. Therefore any post you make is contributing! Hugs!!!

Came back. Vet said she was fresh out of heat so uterus was quite big. She is pouty now and mooing as she lies there. Went out to potty. Ate a bit of kibble with egg but refused water.
![]() Thanks for the thoughts again. I'm looking forward to when she's perkier, even if it is more challenging for me.

I'm a little late for the surgery well wishing, but I hope she has a speedy recovery! Both my girls were back to themselves pretty quickly, your pup will be too. The biggest problem will be keeping her mellow until she's completely healed. We had our lab spayed right after a heat cycle and she was quick to mend as well.

So this may be just me over-thinking the whole thing, but I have a distinct feeling she likes me and trusts me ALOT less after the surgery.
T_____T. At least she's all drugged up and comfortable. I took her to a really far away vet just so she could get the best laser spay I could find. I felt awful last night. Here's hoping she'll be back to normal today.

Naw...she loves you! Good that she's comfortable.
I'm glad she made it through the surgery so well. She'll do fine. In a couple of days, you'll have to keep her from trying to jump and run like her crazy self again. ![]() Kat |
