Kaiser is so silly. Ever since he was little I tried to pretend that the vacuum was no big deal. This basically consisted of me first showing it to him "off" (no problem there), then rolling it around (hmm...interesting), then with a quick "on" (oh my!). From the moment Kaiser heard the vacuum "on", he decided that he didn't trust it with me. He doesn't bark. He doesn't howl. He doesn't try to attack it. Instead, he very warily FOLLOWS me throughout the house as I vacuum, NEVER taking his eyes off of it. He will get out of its way if I change directions, but he never attacks. He just acts very concerned that this whole vacuuming business might get out of hand...so JUST in case that happens he stays nearby on the off-chance that I might need his rescuing. lol!
