Hiss
Wolfie woke up at 3:30 this morning to go out. It's rare that he does this and I should have thought something was up. My second clue should have been that he sat still while putting his collar on, my third should have been when he jumped up on the back window while I was putting his leash on. Light really should have dawned on marblehead, when he alerted towards the woods and pulled me as soon as we went out the door. I was too sleepy to put all the signs together. We got to the woods line, and something not too far from us hissed at us. It was like the hiss of a cat magnified by 1000! It was the loudest thing I have ever heard. Wolfie wanted to kill whatever was out there. I have never seen him get so vicious. He was pulling really hard on his prong collar, and I am so glad that he was wearing it. If not, he would have been long gone after that thing. I heard it crashing through the woods. Definitely a big animal. All the dogs in the area starting going crazy. I wonder what it was!

It was a Zombie! ARGH!!!....oh wait, it ran away. Sounds like it was a bob cat or something like that. Scary stuff!

I think it was a bobcat or a fisher cat.

Wow that sounds scary! Where are you located? I know by me we have mountain lions, so I would have peed my pants if I were in your spot
