Like clock work every morning, Gaia gets me up 5 minutes before the alarm goes off, I wrap myself in a big fuzzy blanket, throw some slippers on and let her outside. In my half asleep stupor I didn't even notice that there was snow on the ground, until I heard a high pitched almost squeal like sound from Gaia. Immediately I panic until I see her army crawling through the snow chomping it like an alligator and trying to throw snowballs into the air. She was having soo much fun her normal 15 minute potty break turned into me pulling on boots and a hoodie and playing for an hour.
Sadly, I didn't want to leave her to go grab my camera so there's no pictures We only got enough snow to make a slushy mess everywhere and it will probably be gone by tomorrow so hopefully she has the same reaction the next snow we get, I'll be prepared.

She was soaked when we came inside. I'm pretty used to her being wet and dirty, she has an uncanny ability to find mud puddles to lay in.

LOL! Did you give her a bath? Dry her up with a towel/blow dryer? Did she leave snowy piddle paddle everywhere? I wonder because I haven't experienced snow per say with the pooches yet. They already make the floor so dirty/messy I can't even imagine what it'll be like when it's snowing...Yucky?!?

She has the bad habit of coming and laying in the bathtub when I shower so she got a shower this morning as well. I invested in a large microfibre towel and that does a pretty good job of drying her off. If I wanted to take the time she'd probably let me blow dry.

HA HA HA Zeeva ... just you wait! Keep big towels by the door, and make sure your dogs know they have to stand and wait until you clean their paws before they are allowed any further!
I got Kyleigh in August ... and we had 10 days of sun, and then WHAMMO tons of rain ... she got used to it real fast! All I have to do now is lay a towel on the floor near the door and when I open the door, she sees the towel and I say STAND / STAY and I can close the door, grab the other towels, and clean her paws. She just waits for me to finish all four paws and then I give her a pat on the butt, and she runs off to see my dad!
