My poor puppy!

I got home and opened the crate and he was so excited he jumped out and hooked his paw on the crate corner and SCREAMED.

The most terrifying and horrible noise to hear is your pup "scream" when they get hurt. I can't call it a howl, whine, cry. It sounds like a scream.

I am so glad I taught him the roll over on his side command with deli chicken because he did it perfectly and I checked every paw.

5 seconds later the "uh-oh" was gone and he was chasing the kitten around the house, but boy was I one scared mommy for a few seconds.

I swear I will have a heart attack one day and I'm only 21. !

The day after we brought Sophie home, she was playing with her ball and tripped over her crate (We had left the door open, which we don't normally do..), and her paw had actually gotten stuck in the wires and was twisted around when she flipped over. She SCREAMED at the top of her lungs, and I kid you not, this dog was crying her eyes out. I FLEW out of my seat and grabbed her up, and just held her. I checked her feet, and nothing was hurt, thankfully. Poor thing literally scared the pee out of herself!

But yeah, needless to say I was a scared mama for a little bit as well, but a few minutes after she calmed down she was running around like normal!

When Wolfie was a baby, I was walking him and he tried to chase a leaf that blew in front of me. I stepped on his paw by mistake when he jumped in front of me, and he went down screaming. I felt so sick because I thought I had broken his paw. I bent down to check his foot, the leaf flew by again, and he jumped up to go chase it as if nothing happened.
