Sometimes I will play-punch or play-kick my girlfriend's son. Complete with loud "punch" noises.
This is the bait. No matter where she is in the house, this will immediately gain Tsura's attention and she will race to the location of the "fight." It's on! On like Donkey Kong! Last night was just such a battle. Tsura races into the kitchen. She crouches, tail wagging so furiously that I worry it will snap off. I'll throw a play punch. Tsura crouches lower and makes a playful, growly "grawrrrrarrrar" noise. Play punch again. *BARK* - She leaps into the air, pouncing at my arm. Play kick. *BARK* - And a pounce at my leg. Except the excitement gets the best of Tsura. She forgets which team she's on... Play punch. *BARK* - She pounces on the boy, nearly knocking him over. "HEY! Not me! Him!" He squeals pointing. "Grawwaararar," says Tsura. By this time, Brody is curious and he trots into the room. Oh, this is too much... Play kick. *BARK* - And Tsura leaps between us and onto Brody's back, chewing on his ear. Brody gives me the "look." The one that says, "That dog ain't right in the head." I'm inclined to agree. |

There's actually an addendum to the rules that says it's OK to talk about German Shepherd Fight Club.
There's also another addendum that says every German Shepherd participating in Fight Club gets free bacon, but judging from the spelling, I think that one was added by the dog... |

Bahahaha this is hilarious. XD
My mom's Husky used to do that. My mom would clap and pretend to "smack" me somewhere (Or she would actually smack me on the butt. Haha whatever she felt was more fun at the time..) and Aviee would FLY into the room barking and "grawrrrarararararararararr"ing away, and she'd jump up and nip and bite at Mom's arm or hand. Not sure what Sophie would do. XD Haven't tried yet. She'd probably just attack Aviee. Lmao |

The first time it happened, I thought Tsura was being protective.
Now I'm not so sure. She's clearly in "play" mode, with tail wagging, and she's not very picky about who she "attacks" (as evidenced by Brody sometimes getting pounced on). |
