The weather has been horrible here for the last two days. It's literally almost rained straight through those 48hrs. So, both dogs have been inside and are going crazy! No walks/jogs, no running around the backyard, nothing.
![]() Today, the weather has been holding off for a bit. It looks gross out, but nothing is happening. So I decided to take the chance of getting rained on, and walk the dogs down to the little park we have here in the neighborhood. It's usually empty until around 5:30pm or so. My dogs are not dog aggressive, but I just don't enjoy dealing with the ignorant owners around here and their untrained, misbehaved, aggressive flea bags. Anyway, We get there, I let them go (mind you, this is the first time the dogs got to play with each other outside of our house... I really wanted them to run out all this pent up energy and get to know each other better). They had a BLAST! Running from one side to the other and playing... it was adorable! Not even 10min after we get there.... a car pulls up. This little, old, nasty dog (off leash), comes running out of the car and up to the gate ALREADY trying to attack my dogs... who are on the opposite side of the park minding their own business. I then notice another small dog in his arms carrying on as well. I call mine over immediately. Duke comes, I put on his leash... but, Zira, being a puppy... slips out of my grasp and runs over to say hi (she is a social butterfly and loves to greet every living being). I walk over to get her since her recall broke. Before I can even get over to her, this guy just comes walking on in with BOTH dogs already showing HUGE signs of aggression. He completely ignored me when I told him to hold on and let me get her. ![]() So now I have two little nasty dogs up in Z's face. She has no idea what's going on. Finally I get her, and the guy gives ME a bad look!!!! Are you SERIOUS?! Duke only let out 2 barks (playful) while I had him on the leash and the other dogs were outside the fence barking at us. And Zira didn't do anything except run up to me with a confused look. I turned around on my way out and told the guy that the next time he decides to take his two nasty DA little S**ts to an off-leash dog park, he should make sure it's empty or at least wait until the others leash theirs and are out of the gates.... or maybe take the responsible route and just throw a ball in his backyard for them. And that this time he was lucky mine happen to be very friendly. I have no problem with people going there to run their DA dogs when it's empty, or if they are like me and just want their dogs by themselves. But, at least give me the chance to get mine on a leash and out of there before you enter and put myself and my dogs at risk. When I go and one person is in there, I sit and wait patiently in my car for them to leave... THEN let mine go in. When someone does the same for me... I get my dogs and I leave so they can have some time there too. Common courtesy people! I was pretty angry.... people around here can be so ignorant. ![]() At least my dogs got a good 10min of running after each other and having fun.... we'll try back another day this week when I am free in the morning.

Duke's going crazy too! But they seemed fairly okay with today. I jogged them home from the park, and then they went to nana's house and played there for 2 hours before coming home and playing with Will. So they are content.
