Default Why don't I ever learn?

While I was loading the dishwasher this morning, our new foster, Jasper, (6 months GSD) had to come and check out what I was doing. This led to our other foster, Kado (4 years GSD) having to see what Jasper was doing.
Needless to say, a chase ensued. Before I could get them stopped, Jasper came through the kitchen, lost traction on the sheet flooring and ended up IN the dishwasher.
He knocked the top rack out and 2 cereal bowls and a glass were destroyed.
No dogs were injured.
Good news (I guess) is that Jasper probably won't be too anxious to get in the dishwasher anytime soon.
I also "got" to vacuum out the dishwasher.
During the entire episode, Cass and Gunnar sat in the living room. I know they were laughing at me.

Buahahaa, never heard of a dog in a dishwasher. Funny, wish you could've gotten a pic.

I wanted to shut the door and start it up. Two birds with one stone, but I didn't.

Scarlett is a horrible dishwasher surfer. She will wake from a sound sleep and zorch into the kitchen if she hears it unlatch. She prefers to call herself the "pre-rinse cycle".

Glad none of your dogs were hurt.
