Default All I Got Was A Shoe

Wolfie likes to give us gifts when we come home. Today, Hubby got a bone, my son got a bully stick, and all I got was my son's smelly shoe! How come they get the good stuff when I am the one that feeds him, grooms him, walks him, and takes care of his every need?

They do know how to make you smile when you need it...mine took her new stuffed animal out today to go to the bathroom...she brought it out, dropped it, walked two feet, peed, grabbed the toy...walked a little further, dropped it, walked two feet, pooped, picked up the toy and ran to the door...I think she didn't want the other dogs to get her toy

The shoe is a great treasure! Feel privileged! Many years ago, I found a stray on my porch. I gave it food and water and had to leave for work. All day long I thought about that dog. Told myself I'd totally keep it if it was still there when I got home. It wasn't, and my heart dropped to pull in the driveway and it was gone, BUT that sweet stray left me a tennis shoe. Not my shoe, some random shoe from ????

So a shoe is a great blessing, I think.

(I called the pound about the dog, they never received in any dog fitting that description, I looked around the neighborhood... I had to assume he found his way home.)

What a sweet story. I hope that dog found his way home too.

I have *never* forgotten that dog!!!! I drove the neighborhood, called the pound many times.... but that dog disappeared. All I had was a plain, white tennis shoe. This was around 1996? and I *still* think about it.

If Wolfie is anything like Sasha then he gave you the best gift of them all. In the world of Sasha, that which smells the worst is the most valuable.
