Default Wolfie Is On A Hunger Strike

He is mad because his routine is broken. Hubby always came down for breakfast with me and Wolfie. Now that he is working midnights, he's asleep during the day. Wolfie has always been very OCD when it comes to schedules and routines. He is so mad that his daddy isn't in the kitchen with us, that he is refusing to eat. I try everything to get him to eat, but he won't touch his food. As soon as hubby wakes up and comes downstairs, Wolfie runs to his bowl and eats his food up. He is such a BRAT sometimes!

oh no! LOL

It's interesting when we discover that one thing that will cause them pause...in this case husband was missing during his breakfast.

My husband's schedule is so wacky so he's use to that however he always backs his truck into our driveway and parks on the right, ...a few months ago for whatever reason he parked on the left and didn't back in...my boy noticed that right away, barking & seemed perturbed by the whole thing. LOL

LOL! That's funny! These dogs seem to need a sense of order around the house.

Wolfie like alot of us isnt fond of change. Daisy right now is on a I wont use my beds b/c you switched them. Her memory foam bed I moved to the bedroom from her spot between the LR and DR which is all open put her other bed there. Now she will not sleep on anything, lays next to it. Daisy has always objected to change and is willing to be stiff rather then try to use a good bed . I guess Wolfie wants your hubbies company to enjoy his meal.

Tell hubby for Wolfie's sake, you're going to start feeding Wolfie in bed with hubby!

When hubby is home, Hondo will eat all his meal but for a few kibbles. Hubby ALWAYS says, "Hondo, did you finish? Be a good boy!" and Hondo will walk back to his bowl and lick up the last few kibbles.

When hubby isn't home, Hondo eats the entire thing in one standing. What, does Hondo think I'm going to eat it?

HAHAHA!! Hubby suggested I put Wolfie's food upstairs, outside the bedroom door. He was sure Wolfie would eat there. Instead, Wolfie proceeded to bark and talk at the door for hubby to come out.

Sounds like Hondo loves praise from his Daddy! Just like a little kid who sees Mom all the time, but Dad is special. LOL!

Oh no! I hope you figure that one out! I know the feeling! Titan is terrible with change and eating.. When we moved he didn't eat the entire 3 day trip. Drank water but wouldn't eat. His bowls were just not in the right place nor were they his "real" bowls! Lol.

Now that he's eating raw, I'll sometimes throw veggies in there and he won't eat them unless I ask him to.. He will come into the living room when he is "finished" and I'll go "Titan, did you eat your veggies??" and he will give me this "oh crap, she knows!" look and I'll say "Go on, eat your veggies!" And he will trot back, slurp them up and then run back to me like "ok fine!" It cracks me up every time!!!

Neither Brody nor Tsura will eat unless we're home. They get lunch and dinner and if we're rushed and have to head right out the door after either is served, sure enough, both food bowls will still be full when we get home. It doesn't matter how hungry I know they are.

And when they do eat, the routine is always the same: Eat a few bites, come over to me, eat a few bites, come over to me, eat a few bites... until the bowls are empty.

I don't know if they feel the need to say "thanks" after every couple of bites, or if they're checking to make sure I don't want any or what...
