Neither Brody nor Tsura will eat unless we're home. They get lunch and dinner and if we're rushed and have to head right out the door after either is served, sure enough, both food bowls will still be full when we get home. It doesn't matter how hungry I know they are.

And when they do eat, the routine is always the same: Eat a few bites, come over to me, eat a few bites, come over to me, eat a few bites... until the bowls are empty.

I don't know if they feel the need to say "thanks" after every couple of bites, or if they're checking to make sure I don't want any or what...

Wolfie does the same thing. He eats a few bites and then comes over to see us, and then a few bites more, etc. etc. I think he's saying thanks or " Look at Me, I'm Eating!" LOL! Every other GSD I have had, has always just scarfed his food down in a few bites.
