I thought my dog was fast...
So I took my dog Emma [8 1/2 months] out to my school just for some exercise. When I get there, there is an owner with 2 greyhounds and after making sure everything was going to be okay, we let them play. I like to think my dog is extremely fast and she hardly ever loses in the game of fetch...always the first one to the ball [with brother who is a gsd, few border collies, golden retriever to name a few]. Well, these dogs were 7 and 10 and my little girl was no match for them. Try as she would, there was just no way. She ended up getting a little frustrated, just because she LOVES the ball, but continued to try and beat them. Eventually she won out because they got tired...but the moment she won she was prancing around like she just won the olympics and was extremely vocal and excited about it. All in all, a great day for my dog and me...humbling!
