that had pet names picked out even before children names?? I never had a baby name picked out until I found out DH and I were expecting...but I have had a puppy named picked out for over 5 years now...just waitng on the puppy This is my name story:

If I get a male puppy, its call name will be Modus. I worked at an Italian restaurant throughout HS/college and there was a bottle of wine called Modus Ruffino. It was a sweet looking bottle and I thought the name Modus sounded important and powerful. Well then I got to thinking that I could nick name it MO, short for Modus Operandi, because I love CSI shows...so MO would fit. This was all planned over 5 years ago. Plus, I have never heard of anyone naming there dog Modus (Don't steal...I am giving away all my secrets! )

So long story short I am just waiting on my Modus...Robin, do you have any M litters planned?

So am I the only crazy that seems to put more into pet names than baby names? (Just FYI, I love my DD to pieces )

I dont have any kids but I have 4 names picked out, 2 boys names and 2 girls names just in case I ever have any (very unlikely).

I also have a large list of names for future pets.

I seriously did not have 1 baby name picked out! I had to go out and get a baby name book :-)

I have first names and middle names for them all.

Boys: Gage Ryder and Drake Riley

Girls: Helena Fallyn and Berlin Isolde, I even have a 3rd named picked out if I had 3 girls, Raven Minerva

Next dog will be a male Dalmatian named either Havoc or Pistol.

Next GSD will be a male named either Grim or Slayer.

That is awesome! LOL. I am not as prepared as you are. Haven't even thought of a 2nd name if we decide to have another child...am I a bad person? LOL
