My Poor Depressed Dog [Video]

The place I board Rocky at during holidays is a dog's every dream...playtimes 3x a day, either with people or other dogs....they get special treats, if approved by dog owner, on other dog's birthdays. They have indoor/outdoor runs and lots of TLC.

I never pay extra for playtimes because I know Rocky isn't going to play with a stranger or strange dog if I'm not there.

One of the employees last time called me and said she felt bad for him and she was going to have a play time with him. Sure. Go ahead and try.

I just found this video on their website and I thought it was hilarious and sad at the same time.

Hilarious because they always insist that he needs playtimes and I always knew this is exactly what he would do. He just stares at the camera person like "what are you doing??"

Sad because it is my fault he is confused and "lost" at the kennel.

Hate leaving him.

Aw poor baby is missing his mommy, I bet he perks up when you go to pick him up. He is a handsome boy.

When he gets picked up, the funny thing is he suddenly runs back and forth from me to the person who brings him out...and they always say "wow he never liked me this much before"

You know, Rocky may be shy, but part of that may be just a German Shepherd thing. They want "their people" and can be pretty mopey without them.
