Lucky,Daisy and I spent alot of the afternoon outside. Lucky got to see his new chuckit in action . He was a little wired as I have been laid up w/ some back issues so today was his chance to run. I must have worn him out as he is zonked out next to my chair. Daisy was out as well but on the third round opted to stay inside and nap on my WVU jacket. Its been beautiful.sunny and 45. Not to bad for Ohio. What are you and your dogs doing?

A warm sunny day here, around 50 degrees. I spent the morning making dog treats while my husband did chores outside with the dogs. After lunch we all went for a hike in our woods. Such a gorgeous day to be outside.

normally on Saturdays the dog and i hang
out together all day. we do the Saturday errants, go to lunch, take a walk, go for a ride to nowhere. today was an off day, i did nothing with the dog. tomorrow i'll get up between 6:30 am and 7:30 am and we'll go out for a game of retrieve. then we'll come and have breakfast. at 11:00 am we're going to the local watering hole for lunch. we'll come and lazy around for the afternoon and then go out to play or shop in the pm.

Warm for January and sunny in Wisconsin. So we did a Schutzhund style track today. It was a bit windy but she did well.
Then did some obedience and played fetch in that field. Hiked around the field and thru a tree line; that was fun because we had not investigated there before. Then hubby and I went pistol shooting at the outdoor range that is on hundreds of beautiful wooded acres. After shooting, we took the dogs (Minka and Lab Eli) out of the truck and went hiking. I like to hide from Minka and then she tries to find me. She runs like a freak'n deer! When she finds me she gets so very excited ![]() Now Minka and the Lab are sacked out on their dog beds. |

Well, today was gorgeous, so as soon as I was able to, I took them for a nice walk...very much enjoyed by my two! I can't go for too long of a walk with both of them as Luna is getting older and her arthritis kicks in after a while and she starts limping.....
But today was great!

This morning I took my puppy for a nice three mile hike off leash. She loves to explore new places. After that I took her to my parents house. Mina played with her favorite dog friends (my parents have four dogs, two of them are just seven months old
) while I enjoyed morning coffee with my Mom and Dad.

We trained on unknown (to me) bureied, building and vehicle problems for an upcoming cadaver recertification. Grim is nailing his problems but I am sweating bullets because he has been down off and on with an enlarged spleen, then a neuter, then a broken toe since September. Monday taking a half day off work to train off a boat and shoreline problems.
