Default for the love of cheese!

soooo i'm sitting here reading through posts on the forum as i do every night when i hear someone going through what sounds like a bag. i look around and i don't see my dog. wooops. i go in the kitchen and find that wolf learned to open the refrigerator and ate my cheese ...another one of those moments where i don't know if i should be a proud mama or not LOL! i took the cheese, threw it away, and shut the door. before i could turn around, wolf grabbed the handle with his mouth and opened it again. little stinker! i'm gonna need baby locks hahaha the boy loves his cheese! forget the chicken or beef thats in there...just the cheese!

I have to say I would be proud that your dog is so smart and very determined lol. Did you get that guilty look they give you when you caught him? You know the look that takes away any anger lol.

I know someone who put a chain and lock on their refrigerator doors because their dog figured out how to open it and raid it! My new dog is very food-driven. I hope she doesn't figure it out or I'll be wiped out in 5 minutes!

That's hilarious!! I have a friend with a Golder Retriever who brings him beer...AND an opener! They had to teach Jake to do that...you could capitalize on this new skill. You'll have to teach what is OFF limits though. You don't want your GSD drinking all your beer!

Actually, that is pretty funny....and yes, these smart dogs can be a real challenge.

Our motto is "If you don't know where your GSD is, you better go find out!"

I always wanted to teach a dog something like that. Even get my slippers or something but my husband won't let me. He thinks that I'm just encouraging them to pick up/chew up things that they shouldn't.

No fridge opening here.... yet!

My mom always teases me when we're over there...if I can't see Sheldon, he's wrong. Sometimes he's laying next to the couch I'm on, or behind it next to the door, and I'll realize I can't see him, so I'll call him, just to have him lift his head like 'what now, mommy?' xD
