Default New Years Resolutions [Yours & Your Dogs]

[please delete if a repeat. I couldn't find a thread for 2012 with this theme]

Post your new years resolution and your new years resolution for your dog!
---------------------------------------------------------

Mine- Since I gained about 10 pounds after an injury, I noticed I have been very gossipy about people because of my own insecurity. This is a habit I find disgusting in other people and embarrassing now that I realized I have been doing it. I want to

1) Get back to good shape
2) Not talk about anyone's physical appearance
3) Get a job!!! (Just applied to three places!)

Rockys- Continue our training to help with fear, help him be more confident, and spend 15 minutes every night before bed on HIM and only HIM! Whether it is tug a war, chase, or ball toss.

1. Eat healthy/get in shape
2. Expand my vegetable repertoire (I don't eat many)
3. Brush the dogs once a week. I'm living in fur.

I don't know if you have a good brush or not, but they sell these 6-8 dollar rubber brushes on the last aisle of petsmart. They fit in your hand and instead of the sharp bristles of a brush, they have rubber bristles.

I brush Rocky once every two days for ten minutes and I have ZERO fur in my house. I am not exaggerating. I vacuum once every 10 days or so.

QUIT SMOKING THOSE WRETCHED CIGARETTES!!!
No resolutions specifically for my dogs --just to keep one with Zoes homemade food and Sibs training..a never ending process!

Yup, I have that one. I just am not very good at actually brushing them. I'm committed to doing it now though so hopefully my efforts will make a difference.

Mine:
1) Get in better shape.
2) Finish my degree.
3) Find a better job.

For Aiden:
1) Get our SchH1
2) Accept that he will never be a prancy, showy looking Schutzhund dog, and be more grateful for the enthusiasm that I do get from him.
3) Find a food that WORKS!

I don't make NY Resolutions but by coincidence started a diet 2 days ago! Probably influenced by so many others talking about their resolutions to lose weight.
