Default Coincidence or does he want to impress the girls?

I am not sure if it is a coincidence. Yukon barely ever lifted his leg to pee. Now that a second girl moved in, he can't lift it any higher or else he'd fall over.

It's hilarious to watch him prancing around, trying to impress the girls and I don't think this is a coincidence either, that all of a sudden he's actually peeing like a real "man", marking every possible spot in both the yards and lifting the leg so darn high that sometimes he's actually really, almost falling over.

I'm curious to see the responses here! My nearly eight month old boy *only* lifts his leg at the dog park... at home he still does the male squat thing. He only also marks at the dog park. At home, he might pee twice, three times max.

How old is Yukon? Intact?

Intact, seven years.

It's not supposed to be a serious topic though. Just wanted to share something completely and entirely silly.

Serious or goofy, I hope to learn something... or just get some good giggles. Either way is a win.

I'm loving the visual of him trying to keep his balance while peeing! LOL

A client of mine has a Vizsla, younger male neutered. Dog is a total cornball, springs around like a super-bouncy ball. I've watched that dog on several occasions lift a leg so high that he tumbles. The first time I saw this I laughed till I cried, I still giggle at the thought. Vizslas are neat dogs, super friendly and whippet-like quickness and speed.

I always had multiple males. When I had 3 gsd's and the 2 aussies..The male aussie being the last to come in, he never ever lifted his leg until the last male had passed..guess he felt he was the "big man" now

That's too funny. Ozzy does the splits in the air when he pees. He's lost his balance a few times, thankfully, it all stayed on the ground and on the tree and not all over him!
