I took Bear for his second time to the beach along with Fred to teach him how to swim in the waves.
Great day, how can there be so *many* great smells in one place all at the same time? Much more confident this time around and went straight to playing with Fred. He lost his footing once the first time the water washed over his feet. The sand must have dissolved out from under him and he fell over, Splash! Straight back into the water though so good for him. Met a bunch of new people and three new dogs. He isn't afraid of new dogs, but there is a rule that I can't see as to how he reacts to them. Mostly it is pleasure and straight acceptance. A few he will bark. Not Bow Wow loud, but yapyapyap excited. Odd. Any tips here? Bear found a goat skull in the flotsam. As there was no question of leaving it behind (I tried, it didn't work well) we brought it home. He saw me put in the trunk, and moaned at me all the way home. We got back and he hopped out and stood to attention at the back of the car till I took it out and handed it over. He then took it to the yard and went straight at the horns. I expect him to work his way through the whole thing eventually. I'm taking my skull and leaving. ![]() Aaaw Dad! Leave me alone with my kill...!
